Who is Elite Dj's?
Before
we can find out who Elite Djs are maybe we should first find
out where they came from. The owner of Elite Djs is a guy by
the name of Corrie Swallow. Corrie has been a DJ for the last
fifteen years. Eight years ago he took a job with the federal
government and decided that that was what he was going to do.
He tried to start slowing down only djing at the occasional
function. It was not working as he seemed to be getting more
and more phone calls after every function. So he decieded to
get into the dj scene in a big way. But knowing that he could
not take it all on himself, he had to get a strong supportive
cast.
Some
of this supporting cast with Elite Djs is the sound and lighting
tech Garret. Garret who comes from a live sound and lighting
background has been in the industry for the last 22 years. Garret
comes from Ontario and has been with Elite Djs for the last
year. He is also our shop tech who fixes all of elites equiptment.
Who
are our DJ's?
Elite
DJ's knows that our clients have different needs and wants when
it comes to hiring a DJ. Our DJ's offer a great mix of experience,
personality, musical backgrounds and special talents.
Next
we have our high energy guys these are the guys that come out
to the big shows. We have award winning break dancers, beat
boxers and spinners.
Are
your DJ's trained?
Being
the perfectionest that he is, not just anybody can go out under
the Elite DJ's banner. So Corrie designed a training program
which all Elite DJ's must complete prior to going out to a show.
Once they have completed this program and Corrie feels comfortable
in their ability, then the dj is ready to attend bookings on
his/her own.
Who
are your customers?
Some
of the functions that have been done lately by Elite DJ's are
the Canadian mixed curling championships in Prince Albert. The
Canadian Karate Championships in Saskatoon. The saskatchewan
Board of Eduation's annual meeting. The College of Education
Graduation. Prince Albert's Carlton graduation. And, of course,
hundreds of happy wedding couples.
